LO2 - Sound track ideas

As my game is a hunting game the soundtrack will be a country style track. this should fit well as hunting is mostly set out in the countryside. Ive also got some sound effects in there like birdsounds, horses, gunshots and other animal sounds. This gives it more atmosphere to the games setting.

LO2 - programming flowchart

my game programming flowchart

LO2 - audience profile

The target audience of this game would be those who are more casual than serious and fall into the ABC1 category. The game has a more serious approach with realistic graphics and game play so it would be aimed at an older audience of 16 to 35 and are majority male due to the violence against animals due to the main objective to hunt.

LO2 - Level

The game doesn't have specific levels but smaller challenges the player must complete in order to level up as a hunter. when the player gets to higher levels more environments are unlocked allowing for larger exploration. The challenges would be to kill a certain species. These challenges can be very broad like "hunt a bear" or be very specific for example "kill four black bears" which can take a lot longer to complete but reward with more xp and credits. As these challenges become harder players will need more powerful weapons and equipment in order to successfully and safely complete the challenge.

LO1 - protagonist

The protagonist of this game would be the player generated character who is the main hunter of this game. This character can be upgraded through game play using credits earned through completing bounties. As the game progresses it gets harder meaning that the players character will have to get upgraded in order to progress successfully throughout missions and bounties.

LO1 - my chosen game concept

My game concept will be a open world hunting game called Game hunter. It will take place in many different environments which will have different species, terrain and weather. The aim of the game is to buy bounties in which a certain animal is to be hunted. When this is successful the player then gets money or credits which can be used for equipment and weapons to then hunter bigger and harder species.Players must use hunting tactics in order to not compromise the shot this means not getting too close or moving too quickly to create a disturbance. Also when hunting prey species such as wolves and bears danger can arise if the animal is not killed or it is part of a pack. this can result in the player being killed and re spawning back at the hunting lodge and loosing credits.
